Visually and emotionally, roots of nostalgia speak to me. Capturing an object, a moment, the soul of a familiar place. It's a dance, an old dance, a new dance. The "Dance" of the paintbrush evokes the flow of creative, perhaps divine energy. Ideas are vast. Observations of the subject, are equally vast. Sensibility edits colors, a conversation, a palette cuisine, laughter of the moment, a story told on canvas expressing the enormity of my passions. Creativity is an organic metamorphosis of true spirit.
Elements of beauty are often simple, yet complex. Intuition nudges me and opens my awareness to the randomness of time. Simplicity and complexity compile a geometry of classic color, texture and light in a painterly and modern manner.
